While VER International has several on-going programs, we like to focus on select ones at different times throughout the year. Below you can find all of our current programs and needs to give towards.
hudson

Hudson is from one of Honduras' seven indigenous groups, called the Miskito people. He has been growing up in a remote part of the country where access to education and medical care is inadequate. Hudson is ten years old and was born with club foot and another genetic orthopedic condition. He was taken in by his aunt and uncle in the city, in order to help him catch up in school and complete the medical process necessary to be able to walk. This process includes amputation and prosthetic legs, scheduled for August 2023.
Hudson is finally getting the care he needs. Doctors are hopeful that with the upcoming operation and therapy, he will learn to walk. Despite generous friends and medical professionals helping along the way, these prosthetic legs are a big financial burden for his aunt and uncle who are covering the majority of the cost which will amount to approximately $3,000. VER is raising funds to help alleviate some of that burden
back to school project 2024

A $50 donation buys a child a backpack full of supplies, a school uniform, underwear, socks, etc. We have a goal to send 200 children to school in Honduras when the new school year begins in February 2024 by giving them the tools they need to return to class.
Let's help ease the financial burden for families who struggle to afford even the basic materials for their child. You can make a difference in Honduras!
